This October, Estoril Riviera opens its doors to another edition of Riviera Salon — an intimate evening celebrating the stories, places and personalities that have shaped the Portuguese Riviera.
On 8 October, we welcome acclaimed Portuguese author Maria João Lopo de Carvalho, who will take guests on a journey through the history, architecture and distinctive character of Estoril — exploring the atmosphere and elegance of another era and the stories that continue to give the neighbourhood its unique identity.
The evening draws inspiration from Maria João Lopo de Carvalho's book “O Estoril não caiu do cẽo”, offering a personal perspective on the people, places and memories woven into Estoril's cultural landscape.
More than a conversation, Riviera Salon is an invitation to slow down and discover the layers behind the place we call home — through literature, local history and the voice of an author who has brought its stories to life.
